The application leveraged full-fledged social network features that included creating image and video content directly in the app and sharing it with other users. Images and videos could be enhanced with custom filters written in OpenGL and Metal.
Users were able to DM their friends with custom created content. A patented mechanism added an additional layer of privacy and protected messages from unwanted eyes.
An AI generated feed visible customized for every user guaranteed higher engagement and made users return to the app.
The app was featured by multiple media outlets around the world for, among other things, its emotion detection technology. Images of the user browsing content were analysed with an on device (which guaranteed 100% privacy) neural network in order to detect their reaction to the content.
